Online agent not performing?

We have been receiving quite a few enquiries from landlords recently who’s online agents are simply not performing.

We were recently contacted by the owner of an apartment on Kingsland Basin, E8. His property was on with an online agent for £375pw and had 1 viewing in 3 weeks. Thats 1 viewing after 360 working hours if you believe the hype on their website (apparently open 24 hours).

Harvey Residential was instructed and 2 days later the flat was rented at £420pw to a nice couple.

Other examples of this include a 2 bedroom flat in The City Mills, which was originally agreed at £530,00 via an online agent.

The sale fell through due to lack of diligence by the online agent and Harvey Residential was instructed. The sale completed at £590,000 5x weeks later.

To us, these examples clearly show there is nothing like a physical presence in the local area.
